A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Kejriwal was released from Tihar jail on interim bail. He visited the historic temple to pay his obeisance.

The Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Kejriwal till June 1 for campaigning in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

However, the court has barred him from visiting his office or the Delhi secretariat and signing official files unless necessary for obtaining the lieutenant governor's approval.

Kejriwal offers prayers at Hanuman temple. The 55-year-old leader thanked the Supreme Court judges for granting him interim bail and the people for their blessings.

After his release, he thanked Lord Hanuman and sought people's support in his "fight against dictatorship".

On Friday, a wave of jubilation swept across the I.N.D.I.A bloc parties as the news spread like wildfire, with his AAP terming it a "triumph of truth".
