The Indian Institute of Technology Madras, has been ranked as the best ‘Overall’ institution in the country, in the NIRF Rankings 2023. The premier one among the older and premier IITs in the country, IIT Madras is a highly sought-after public institution among tech and research aspirants. Besides the ‘Overall’ category, the IIT Madras has also been ranked as the best Engineering institution in the country in the NIRF Rankings 2023.

The same also reflects in the IISC Bangalore’s ranking as the ‘Best’ research institution in the country in the NIRF Rankings 2023. Besides No.1 Spot in ‘Research,’ the IISC Bangalore has also been ranked as the 2nd best institution in the country in the ‘Overall’ category.
