The NIRF has released the NIRF Rankings 2023. In the rankings, IIT Madras has earned the Top Spot under the 'Overall' category and is followed by IISC Bengaluru and IIT Delhi.

NIRF Rankings 2023 Released

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras, has been ranked as the best ‘Overall’ institution in the country, in the NIRF Rankings 2023. The premier one among the older and premier IITs in the country, IIT Madras is a highly sought-after public institution among tech and research aspirants. Besides the ‘Overall’ category, the IIT Madras has also been ranked as the best Engineering institution in the country in the NIRF Rankings 2023.

The Indian Institute of Science’ academic and research outreach is no hugger-mugger, no wonder this prominent research institution is touted as one of the best research institutions in the country. The same also reflects in the IISC Bangalore’s ranking as the ‘Best’ research institution in the country in the NIRF Rankings 2023. Besides No.1 Spot in ‘Research,’ the IISC Bangalore has also been ranked as the 2nd best institution in the country in the ‘Overall’ category.

The IIT Delhi has been ranked as the 3rd Best Education Institution in the country under the ‘Overall’ category. One of the most sought-after institutions amongst tech and engineering aspirants, IIT Delhi is known for its excellence in tech research, teaching, and training. Over the years, IIT Delhi has been consistently ranked among the top institutions in the country.

The Indian institute of Technology Bombay, is another premier and one of the older 7 IITs which sits among the top preferences of IIT aspirants every year. In the NIRF Rankings 2023, IIT Bombay has been ranked as the 4th Best institution in India under the ‘Overall’ category. One of the oldest Engineering colleges in the country, the IIT Roorkee makes it to the 8th place in the NIRF 2023 Rankings under the best ‘Overall’ educational institutions in the country. The NIRF 2023 Rankings also award the IIT Roorkee as the 5th Best Engineering Institution in the country.

The IIT Guwahati ranks as the 9th ‘Overall’ Best educational institution in India, in the NIRF 2023 Rankings. Located in the Amingaon area of North Guwahati village, the IIT Guwahati is also ranked the 7th best engineering college in the country in the NIRF 2023 Rankings.

The prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi, has been ranked as the 10th Overall best education institute in the country.
