The tournament will resume this year after being cancelled last year due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Being a sports enthusiast, Dhillon believes that sports play a significant role in the overall personality development of an individual. "I have always motivated young players to actively participate in sports events/games as it not just helps in maintaining good health but also gives mental strength that keeps the person afloat even during tough times," he said.

For those who don't know the game, kabaddi is a outdoor sport that originated in ancient India. Though there are different versions of the sport, but largely it comprises of two teams with two different types of players: raiders and stoppers.

The raiders attack the stoppers and they get points if they can touch a stopper and return to their side of the field in 30 seconds without being tackled. Meanwhile, the stoppers earn points everytime they shut down a raider.
