WFH Or Work From Theatre? Bengaluru Employee On Laptop During 'Jawan' Screening Has Netizens Divided
Bengaluru News: The Internet was left divided whether the person compromised on his work quality or whether he was burdened with work and needed some entertainment.
All of us at some point in our lives might have faced a situation where our work life would've overlapped with our personal life. In Bengaluru, a person pulled out his laptop and started working on it while watching Shahrukh Khan's latest movie Jawan inside a theatre. A netizen named Neelangana Noopur quickly captured this moment and shared it on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter). This post left the internet divided over the alleged increase in workload post-pandemic, especially during Work From Home (WFH).
The user shared the picture with the caption, "When Jawan first day is important but life is 'Peak Bengaluru'. Observed at a Bengaluru INOX. No emails or Teams session were harmed in taking this pic."

A user on X asked Noopur whether she complained about this or not. The user wrote, "Did you complain? Imagine driving through traffic, spending half a thousand for a few hours of entertainment...and getting someone in front of you who decides to do this. I do like the hybrid model of work, but this is peak precarious hybridity."
Another user expressed his anger towards the person with the laptop and wrote, "Should come after working time! Misuse of WFH facility. Wastage of man hours! Totally disturbing for the other viewers."
One of the users showed empathy towards the persona and wrote, "Let's be empathetic towards this person. #Peakbengaluru is the worst thing that happens to anyone. Do anything to earn a living but not these tumultuous, risky IT jobs🙏"
A user didn't take any side rather he was more concerned about how the person got a laptop inside the theatre. He wrote, "How come you got the laptop inside the theatre???"
