Groom Thrashed In Bihar's Gaya By Bride's Family For Hiding Baldness

The groom was sporting a wig throughout the wedding ceremony when the bride's relatives became suspicious of it and yanked out his hair.

Many of us may have seen AAyushmann Khurrana starrer Bala, that shwcases what bald men have to go through and how the person he loved leaves him after knowing he is bald. Well, a similar thing happened in Bihar's Bajaura village in Dhobi region of Gaya district. The groom was thrashed by the bride’s family during wedding festivities for allegedly hiding his baldness. 

The video of the entire incident went viral on social media, in which one can see the family members slapping and verbally abusing the man, while he pleads with folded hands. The groom was sporting a wig throughout the wedding ceremony when the bride's relatives became suspicious of it and yanked out his hair, leading to their anger over the deception.

The video of the incident, uploaded on Twitter has gone viral on social media.

Despite the groom's repeated appeal for forgiveness, the bride's family took their grievance to the village authorities. The police weren't involved and the situation was handled at the panchayat level, according to reports.

The bride’s family also got furious after knowing that the groom was attempting for second marriage while still being married to his first wife, reported the Firstpost.

Recently,  a marriage in Karnataka was recently called off after the bride showed her displeasure over the groom touching her neck during the garlanding ritual. 

As part of wedding rituals, the bride from Moodukonaje and groom, who hails from Naravi were asked to exchange garlands as part of wedding rituals. But when the groom was putting the garland around the bride's neck, she suddenly flung it away and exited the wedding hall. The groom's side saw this as an insult and called of the wedding.
