New Delhi: An Australian pub owner, Kai Hansen was caught on camera swatting a crocodile on the head with a frying pan. The video is going on viral on social media and has left people shocked. The incident occurred at Goat Island Lodge, a remote establishment located on an island on the Adelaide River.

In the video, Hasen is seen climbing down a staircase with a frying pan in hand while there is a crocodile on the ground. The crocodile charged toward him but Hansen hits it with a frying pan, when it continued to charge back Hansen swatted it even harder on the head. Suddenly, the crocodile turns around and runs back.

The video was originally shared by Airborne Solutions Helicopter Tours’ Facebook page with the caption: "Goat Island isn't your typical bar and King Kai isn't your typical publican! You simply never understand what he'll serve up straight away."

The video has over 2.3 million views, 5.5k comments and 7.4k likes. A user wrote, “Gotta learn to carry a frying pan in my weapons arsenal, it looks handy.” Another user jokingly wrote, “That gator turned so quick his head is probably still ringing.”  “Not a fry pan, it's a crock pot”, said the third.

Hansen’s experiences with crocodiles are notable, as per Newsweek. He used to own a dog called Pippa who used to bark at the crocodiles and frighten them back into the water. However, one day a crocodile whom he referred to as Casey caught the dog and killed her.

West Bengal News: Suvendu Adhikari alleges TMC attack in Purulia, stages midnight protest at police stationWest Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Sunday alleged that his convoy was attacked by Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers in Purulia district, triggering panic and chaos at the spot. Adhikari was returning after attending a programme in Purulia when the incident reportedly took place. Following the alleged attack, he raised slogans and proceeded to the local police station, where he staged a peaceful sit-in protest for nearly five hours, extending until after midnight. Adhikari accused the ruling TMC of orchestrating a planned attack on his vehicle and alleged the involvement of the state police. He claimed that the incident reflected a nexus between “criminal elements and the administration,” and held Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who also heads the state home department, responsible for the situation. In strong remarks, he alleged that files were stolen and intimidation was carried out by individuals linked to the ruling party. The BJP leader also shared posts on social media platform X late at night, reiterating his allegations and stating that the fight against what he termed “political violence” in West Bengal would continue. After the incident, Adhikari reached the police station, where he remained seated in protest for several hours, demanding action against those responsible. The TMC, however, has not yet issued an official response to the allegations.
