Agra: 7-Foot Crocodile Found In Building's Toilet, Creates Panic Among Villagers
A seven-foot Mugger crocodile found wandering in Nagla Pasi village in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad district was rescued by Wildlife SOS and the forest department.
The mere thought of encountering any kind of animal in the lavatory is a nightmare. Imagine the terror that engulfed a village in Agra after a 7-foot-long crocodile was discovered in a building's toilet. This occurred in Nagla Pasi village of Uttar Pradesh's Firozpur district. On Sunday morning, villagers were shocked and terrified after discovering this 7-foot-long crocodile in the building's toilet. They immediately informed the owner, who then contacted the forest department for assistance.
The forest department then contacted the wildlife SOS to request assistance with the rescue operation. An NGO team of at least four members arrived on the scene with all of the necessary equipment. The rescue crew successfully rescued the crocodile from the washroom using a trap cage after a long and exhausting operation.
The wildlife SOS team rescued the massive crocodile for about two hours before releasing it back into the wild. After questioning witnesses, it was discovered that the crocodile had snuck inside from a nearby pond. The wildlife SOS team eventually released the crocodile in a safe body of water after rescuing it.

Second Such Incident In Less Than A Month:
This is the second crocodile sighting in Firozabad in less than a month.
Surendra Kumar Saswat, Range Forest Officer from Jasrana, was quoted by news agency IANS as saying, "As soon as we got the building owner's call, our crew headed over there right away." We also informed Wildlife SOS that they did an outstanding job in saving the animal. Following the rescue, we released the crocodile in a healthy water body".
Baiju Raj M.V, Senior Wildlife Biologist and Director of Conservation Projects, also released a statement, saying, "This is the second time in a month that a crocodile has been rescued from this area. Crocodiles stray from the lower Ganga canal and enter the land on occasion because it is close by. However, the villagers deserve the most credit for taking the correct action by alerting the authorities," he said, according to IANS.
Another seven-foot-long crocodile was spotted in the Firozabad district's Nagla Amaan village in March. It was released into the wild following a four-hour rescue mission.
