Khadija Shah, the prime suspect in the attack on the Lahore Corps Commander's house, also known as Jinnah House, was presented before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) today. After her arrest on Tuesday, Khadija Shah was transferred to a women's police station, as reported by Geo News. The Punjab Police had confirmed her arrest, stating that she was wanted for her alleged involvement as a prime instigator in the May 9 attacks on the Lahore Corps Commander House, which resulted in extensive damage.
The attack on the Corps Commander House took place on May 9 when members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stormed the premises and set it ablaze following the arrest of party chairman Imran Khan in charges of corruption in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust case.

Khadija Shah comes from a prominent background. Her father, Dr Salman Shah, was a member of former President Parvez Musharraf's finance team and had also served as an advisor in the Punjab government during the Usman Buzdar administration. Furthermore, she is the granddaughter of former Army Staff General Asif Nawaz Janjua.
