WATCH: Donald Trump Mocks US Vice President Kamala Harris' Accent, Says 'She Talks In Rhymes'

When questioned about the possibility of Indian-American Harris running for President in the next election, Trump stated, "This is not a president of the United States of America's future."

Former President Donald Trump ridiculed US Vice President Kamala Harris' accent, saying she speaks in "rhyme," news agency PTI reported. Trump, who did not attend the first Republican presidential primary debate in Milwaukee on Wednesday, appeared on former Fox News host Tucker Carlson's show, where he blasted both President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris.

In a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Trump is wirnessed mocking Harris’s accent stating: “She speaks in rhyme. It’s weird… Well, the way she talks: ‘The bus will go here and then the bus will go there! Because that’s what busses do!’” 

When questioned about the possibility of Indian-American Harris running for President in the next election, Trump stated, "This is not a president of the United States of America's future."

Harris, 58, is the first African-American and Asian-American vice president, as well as the highest-ranking female politician in US history.

Harris was born in the United States to two immigrant parents: a Black father and an Indian mother. Donald Harris, her father, was from Jamaica, and Shyamala Gopalan, a breast cancer researcher, was from Chennai.

Trump also made a remark about Vice President Joe Biden, claiming he is "worse mentally than physically."

“Well not really… she has some bad moments. Her moment is as bad as it can be. I think his( pointing to Joe Biden) is worse, actually,” he  was quoted by PTI in its report. 

Trump will face three Indian-American candidates in the presidential election, which is set on November 5, 2024.

The Republican candidates for US President in 2024 are Hirsh Vardhan Singh, an Indian-American engineer, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, and rich entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.

Meanwhile, Democrat Vice President Joe Biden is campaigning for re-election.
