Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused the West of cowardice while another top official said that Russia was trying to divide the nation into two like North and South Korea

New Delhi: Amid constant tensions between Russia and Ukraine, a sixth round of talks between the two nations is likely to be held this week, but is unlikely to happen today, said the Kremlin, reports news agency Reuters.

Earlier on Sunday, it was reported that the two delegations will meet on March 28 and 30 in Turkey, David Arakhamia, a Ukrainian negotiator and lawmaker, had posted on Facebook.

Although, Vladimir Medinsky, Russia’s chief negotiator, had stated that the next round of discussions will be held in Turkey on Tuesday, March 29 and Wednesday, march 30, Reuters had reported.

According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the two former Soviet neighbours have reached an agreement on four of the six negotiation points: Ukraine's refusal to pursue NATO membership, the use of the Russian language in Ukraine, disarmament, and security assurances. Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine's foreign minister, claimed there was "no consensus" with Russia on important issues.
