'We Have Lost Engines': Audio Of Last Words From Pilot Flying PIA Plane From Lahore To Karachi
Flight PK-303 from Lahore was about to land in Karachi when it crashed at the Jinnah Garden area near Model Colony in Malir, just a minute before its landing.
Karachi: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plan with 99 passengers and 7 crew members on board crashed in a residential area in Karachi near the city's Jinnah International Airport on Friday.
As per the recent update the PIA aircraft was flown by Captain Sajjad Gul. The Pakistan Media has reported that just 10 mins before the landing Aircraft pilot reported that PIA PK8303 had some technical problem.
"We have lost engine," were the LAST WORDS from the pilot Sajjad Gul of the A320 Airbus who was flying from Lahore to Karachi.

The CAA sources said that its communication with the plane was cut off one minute before its landing. Several houses have been damaged in the area where the aircraft crashed. Confirming the incident, a senior official of the Civil Aviation Authority said the rescue operation was underway. "It is too early to say anything. We are collecting details of passengers," The Express Tribune quoted the official as saying. Meanwhile, a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Army Quick Reaction Force and Sindh Pakistan Rangers reached the site for relief and rescue efforts alongside civil administration, Dawn news reported.
