Pakistan Maritime Security Agency Saves 6 Indian Fishermen From Drowning
The Nakwa said that their boat sank due to an accident and strayed into Pakistani seas.
The Pakistan Navy on Thursday said that it rescued and saved six Indian fisherman who were drowning close to International Maritime Boundary Line between India and Pakistan.
The incident occurred on October 6, 2022. The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) ship was patrolling the Eastern maritime zone when it discovered six Indian fishermen in the sea; an emergency rescue effort was conducted, and all crew members of the Indian fishing boat were successfully rescued, according to the press release issued by the authorities.
Later, the Nakwa said that their boat sank due to an accident and strayed into Pakistani seas.
Rescued fisherman were given food and medical care by PMSA Ship, which helped to stabilise their physical conditions. The fishermen were then transferred to an Indian coast guard vessel patrolling nearby.

The rescued fishermen and the Indian Coast Guard both applauded the PMSA ship's humanitarian effort.
"PMSA has always been at the forefront in saving lives at sea without any distinctions; the Rescue of Indian fishermen is a manifestation of this resolve," the statement reads.
Earlier in August this year, the Pakistan Navy had rescued and saved nine Indian crew members from drowning after their vessel capsized in the Arabian Sea.
The incident occurred on August 9 near the coastal town of Gwadar in Balochistan province when the Indian sailing vessel 'Jamna Sagar' sank with 10 crew members onboard, according to a statement from Pakistan Navy's Director General of Public Relations.
The navy had received information about the vessel, replied to the distress call, and the Pakistan Maritime Information Centre asked that a neighbouring merchant ship, "MT KRUIBEKE," aid the stranded crew of the Indian vessel.
