'Killed With My Own Hands!': Hamas Militant Brags About Killing 10 Jews In A Phone Call With Parents
In a phone recording released by IDF, the militant, whose identity is unknown, can be heard telling his parents to quickly open his WhatsApp message so they can “see all those” he had killed.
Amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, a phone recording released on Tuesday by the Israel Defense Force (IDF) on X reveals the conversation between a Hamas terrorist and his parents, in which he claims to have killed 10 Jews “with my own hands”. In the phone recording, the militant, whose identity is unknown, can be heard telling his parents to quickly open his WhatsApp message so they can “see all those” he had killed.
“Look how many I killed with my own hands! Your son killed Jews!" the militant said in the recording. He even bragged to his father about using a phone stolen from a Jewish woman he had murdered in Mefalsim, a kibbutz near the Gaza border.
“I killed her, and I killed her husband,” he said. “I killed 10 with my own hands! Dad, 10 with my own hands!” He repeatedly told his father to look at the images of his prey.
The two seemed to be happy over the call, and the voice of the militant was filled with emotion as he happily repeated several times that he had killed nearly a dozen people. The IDF presented this recording to the UN Security Council.
The parents of the militant seem to applaud him for his actions. In the recording, his father said, "Oh my son, God bless you!" according to The New York Post. On the other hand, his mother expressed hope for his safe return. The terrorist stated, "There is no going back. It's either death or victory.”
The content of these images and the parents' reactions, however, are not clear.
The latest conflict began after Hamas launched a surprise attack against Israel on October 7, claiming the lives of more than 1,400 people. Israel has launched a massive counter-offensive against the Islamic militant group that has ruled Gaza since 2007.
