WATCH | Punjab Farmer Drives Tractor In 'Reverse Gear' Demanding Centre To Repeal Farm Laws
Ahead of the march, a farmer from Punjab reached Delhi on his tractor in reverse gear symbolising his demand to from the Centre to 'reverse' the farm laws.
Thousands of farmers from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh gathered in National capital since November 2020 have been adamant in holding protest against the three farm laws that were passed by the Central government. Though several rounds of negotiations have taken place between central government and farmers' representatives, yet the matter remains inconclusive till date as the protesters demands nothing less than the repeal of the three agricultural bills.

The farmers across India and world have extended support and are now bracing up for the mega tractor parade on the occasion of Republic Day. Farmers' representative have made it clear that a peaceful parade will be conducted on Republic Day in the national capital to express their grief over the three contentious agriculture laws passed by the Centre last year.
Ahead of the march, a farmer from Punjab reached Delhi on his tractor in reverse gear symbolising his demand to from the Centre to 'reverse' the farm laws. The video posted on Twitter by a page called 'TractorToTwitter' has gone viral with 6800 views and counting.

Meanwhile, the Delhi police has given the formal approval in written to let the farmers hold the tractor parade on January 26. The farmers sitting at the Ghazipur, Singhu and Tikri borders have been making preparations for the tractor rally. The Tractor march will be taken on five routes. More than 1 lakh tractors are expected to be seen taking part in the peaceful rally scheduled for the Republic Day.
