Viral Sach: Banks to remain closed for 11 days in July?

It is being propagated through a viral message that July has 11 bank off days. The message advises you to do your important bank work. The message says on July 2, it is first Saturday and on July 23, it is last Saturday. Hence, the banks would be closed. On July 6, it would be Eid and on 12 July and July 28, there would be strikes in State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur. On July 13, banks would stage a country-wide strike and on July 29, United Forum Bank Union has called a strike. The message claims banks would be closed on 2, 3, 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 23, 24 and 28. In our investigation we found, banks remain closed second and fourth Saturdays. So the banks won’t remain closed on July 2 and July 23. We talked to National Organisation of Bank Workers and they said State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur would be closed due to strikes on July 12 and July 28. On July 13, banks would go on a nation-wide strike. The message is half-truth.
