Colorado Shooting: At Least 10, Including Police Officer Killed In Mass Shooting At US Grocery Store; Suspect In Custody

In a highly shocking incident, at least ten people, including a police officer, lost lives after a gunman open fire at a grocery store in Colorado on Monday. The Boulder Police informed that a person of interest is in custody. "He was injured and is being treated for his injury."
Boulder Police Department earlier stated that multiple victims lost their lives. One of the victims is a Boulder police officer. Investigation is underway. Crime scene analysts are inside the building processing evidence. No numbers about fatalities will be released until families are notified.
A Live-streamed video showed a white middle-aged man, shirtless and seemingly covered in blood, being taken away by the police however it remains uncertain if the man was indeed the one in custody.
Meanwhile, the US President Joe Biden has been informed of the shooting at Boulder supermarket. White House spokesperson Jen Psaki in a Tweet said that the President has been briefed on the shooting in Colorado and he will be kept up to date by his team as there are additional developments.
The incident has come a week after three shootings at Atlanta-area massage parlours that left eight people dead and two injured.
According to AP, two of the shootings were at spas across the street from each other in northeast Atlanta and the other was in Cherokee County. Four people were killed in Cherokee County, north of Atlanta, around 5 p.m. and four died in two shootings at spas in Atlanta shortly before 6 p.m.
