New Delhi: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference working President Omar Abdullah, on Friday, slammed filmmakers of the movie The Kashmir Files saying that it shows “many false things.”
Reacting on the movie, which attempts to show 1991 Kashmiri Pandit exodus, Omar pointed out that Farooq Abdullah was not the Chief Minister at that time, contrary to the film which showed an NC government, he claimed. Rather Governor rule was imposed in the state, he added. Omar further said that BJP backed VP Singh’s Government was in the Centre during that time.
