The panel meetings on Waqf Bill have been marred by heated exchanges between the BJP MPs and Opposition members. Last week, Banerjee was involved in another heated argument with BJP MPs Dilip Saikia, Nishikant Dubey, and Abhijit Ganguly. The Opposition had also accused the BJP MPs of walking out of the meeting and of using inappropriate language.
