Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita sought to deliver a message from the Delhi CM's message from jail. In the message Arvind Kejriwal said there were internal and external forces trying to weaken India.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal on Saturday issued a video statement, delivering the AAP convenor's message from jail. Arvind Kejriwal, through Sunita, said that he was apprehensive of external and internal forces that are weakening the nation. He also said that he will keep every promise made to the people of the nation.

Reading out the CM's message Sunita Kejriwal, a former IRS officer, said, "...There are several forces within and outside India that are weakening the country. We have to be alert, identify these forces and defeat them...Women in Delhi must be thinking that Kejriwal is behind bars. Who knows if they would get Rs 1,000. I appeal to them to trust their brother, their son... There is no jail that can keep him behind bars for long. I will come out soon and keep my promise..."

Arvind Kejriwal said that he would continue to serve the nation, whether he is in jail or is freed. "My life is dedicated to the nation. Every drop of my blood is dedicated to India." Reading the message further, Sunita Kejriwal said: "I have taken birth to struggle... That's why this arrest doesn't surprise me... We need to make this nation great again."

'Do Not Hate BJP'

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal urged the people to support 'patriotic' forces that want to lift the nation and strengthen them. "Has Kejriwal ever not been able to fulfil any promise he made? Your son and brother is strong. Just seek blessings for me from God." He appealed to AAP supporters and workers not to give up on welfare services for people. "For this reason [his arrest], do not hate the BJP," Arvind Kejriwal said in the message through Sunita Kejriwal.

Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi excise policy case on Thursday evening after 2 hours of questioning. On Friday, he was sent to ED remand till March 28.
