Sachin Pilot Swallowing Poison Like Lord Shiva, Priyanka Gandhi Also Being Insulted In Congress: Pramod Krishnam

The Congress dismissed him from the party on Saturday for "indiscipline" and repeated remarks damaging to the party.

Following his expulsion from the Congress, Acharya Pramod Krishnam expressed his views on Sunday, claiming that figures like Sachin Pilot and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are facing disrespect within the party, where people need "chamchagiri" (sycophancy) to survive. Krishnam also said he will stand with Prime Minister Narendra Modi throughout his life to strengthen the country further, as reported by PTI.

The Congress dismissed him from the party on Saturday for "indiscipline" and repeated remarks damaging to the party. Krishnam, who contested on a Congress ticket from Lucknow in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections but lost, recently complimented Prime Minister Modi for the Ayodhya consecration ceremony and criticised the Congress for its leadership's decision to miss it.

According to the PTI, addressing reporters at 'Kalki Dham,' Krishnam remarked, "Today if one wants to remain in the Congress, it requires manipulation, chamchagiri (sycophancy), and lying." He said, "Today Sachin Pilot is being insulted in Congress...he is swallowing poison like Lord Shiva. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also being insulted."

Priyanka Gandhi Not Joining Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

"(Bharat Jodo Nyay) Yatra of Rahul Gandhi is going on for several days...why is Priyanka Gandhi not joining it, ask her," he also said, as quoted by PTI.

Seemingly directed against Rahul Gandhi, Krishnam said, "If a person cannot respect his mother and sister, how will he respect the country? How will one who could not handle his legacy handle the country?"

On Saturday, Congress general secretary (organisation) K C Venugopal said, "Keeping in mind the complaint of indiscipline and repeated statements against the party, the Congress President has decided to expel Pramod Krishnam from the party for six years."

Krishnam "thanked" the Congress for his expulsion and said, "I express my gratitude to the Congress leadership that they have issued an order to free me from the party."

However, he stated, "Kharge ji (Congress chief) and Venugopal ji should tell which activities were anti-party. Are you meeting PM Modi, inviting UP CM Yogi Adityanath for the foundation stone laying ceremony of Shri Kalki Dham, and talking about Indian culture anti-party? These are my questions for the Congress." Krishnam had recently met Prime Minister Modi and invited him to the foundation stone laying ceremony of 'Shri Kalki Dham'.

He declared, "I am proud that illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Kalki Dham on February 19," and swore he would "stand with Narendra Modi" for the rest of his days.

Krishnam criticised the Congress, remarking, "The issue isn't my expulsion...but the downfall of the Congress of Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Indira Gandhi, and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad."

He emphasised the importance of a robust opposition in democracy, asserting that the current opposition focuses solely on opposing one individual. Krishnam suggested that this intense animosity towards Modi extends to hating India itself.

"I joined the Congress at 17 in 1981 and promised to Rajiv Gandhi that I'd remain with the party till my last breath. I have kept my word," Krishnam concluded.
