President Droupadi Murmu has announced key gubernatorial appointments across three regions, according to an official statement issued on Monday.

Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh has been appointed as the new Governor of Haryana, while Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju will serve as the Governor of Goa. In another major move, Kavinder Gupta has been named the new Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh.

Gupta replaces Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), whose resignation from the post of Lieutenant Governor has been formally accepted by the President.

These appointments will take effect from the dates the new appointees assume charge of their respective offices.
