PM Modi to inaugurate Samsung factory in Noida today, Traffic Police issues advisory
Ahead of the visit of PM Modi and South Korean President to the newly inaugurated 35-acre factory, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Samsung Electronics facility in Noida on Sunday to inspect security.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new unit of Samsung Company in Noida on Monday. Sector 81, Noida is where Samsung has set up what is the world’s largest mobile factory. The tag of housing the world’s largest mobile factory has also put Noida on top of the world manufacturing map when it comes to consumer electronics. Also, this is the largest investment by the Korean company in India so far. The Prime Minister will be accompanied by South Korean President Moon Jae-in in the program who arrived in India on Sunday on his first state visit to the nation.

Meanwhile, keeping in mind the security-related issues, Noida police have announced several diversions for today starting at 4 pm till 9 pm. Commuters taking the Yamuna Expressway, Greater Noida, Pari Chowk to reach Delhi using Noida-Greater Noida Expressway have been advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience, while all those travelling from Delhi Noida Direct Flyway to New Ashok Nagar, Greater Noida, Greater Noida West, Ghaziabad should take NH24.
Moon Jae-in kicked-off his first state visit to India with a tour of the Akshardham temple on Sunday and said the two countries may have different cultures but share common values such as peace, harmony, and unity in diversity. The president, accompanied by his wife Kim Jung-sook, arrived at the sprawling temple premises this evening from the Delhi airport and spent an hour there, admiring its iconic architecture and listening to the stories behind its design. Moon will hold talks with Modi on Tuesday during his four-day visit, which India expects would open new avenues for expanding the bilateral partnership, particularly in the economic domain.
