PM Modi To Address 90th Anniversary Of Sivagiri Pilgrimage, Golden Jubilee Of Brahma Vidyalaya Today

Sivagiri Mutt is a famous tourist pilgrimage site in Varkala town of Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a programme to mark 90th anniversary of Sivagiri pilgrimage and Golden Jubilee of Brahma Vidyalaya on Tuesday.

Taking to Twitter, the Prime Minister urged people, especially those connected with the Sivagir Mutt, to share their insights for the programme. 

“Will address a programme to mark the 90th anniversary of the Sivagiri pilgrimage and Golden Jubilee of Brahma Vidyalaya tomorrow at 10:30 AM. Requesting everyone, especially those connected with the Sivagiri Mutt to share their insights for the programme,” PM Modi tweeted. 

 

“India is extremely proud of the monumental contribution of the Sivagiri Mutt in different fields. They have popularised the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru and done great work in healthcare, education and service. I fondly recall my visits to the Mutt in 2015 and 2013,” he added in another tweet. 

Sivagiri Mutt is a famous tourist pilgrimage site in Varkala town of Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala. The Mutt also headquarters Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham, an organisation of Sree Narayan Guru’s disciples and followers. 

The Mutt observes with much relevance, the birth and death anniversary of Guru in the month of August/September. Sivagiri pilgrimage, known as Sivagiri Theerthadanam in Malayalam is another important festival celebrated in the Mutt.
