PM Modi Extends New Year Greetings, Wishes Citizens Splendid 2024, Prosperity And Peace

PM Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar wished prosperity and peace to citizens as people welcomed the new year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended greetings of the new year to the countrymen wishing all a splendid 2024. He also wished prosperity and wonderful health to all.

"Wishing everyone a splendid 2024! May this year bring forth prosperity, peace and wonderful health for all," the Prime Minister said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

President Droupadi Murmu took to X and extended new year greetings. "Warm New Year greetings to all! May the Year 2024 bring happiness, peace and prosperity for everyone. Let us welcome the New Year with a renewed commitment to contribute to inclusive and sustainable development," she said.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar wished peace, prosperity and happiness to people as he wished citizens on New Year. "Greetings to every Indian for the New Year 2024! May the New Year bring in peace, prosperity and happiness to each and everyone. Let us embrace the dawn of the #NewYear with a resolute commitment to contribute towards wholesome progress and prosperity of Bharat."

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge extended wishes on the occasion and said the year should be the one that gives hope and power back to poor and marginalised.

"On this New Year, I extend my best wishes to all of you. The year 2024 should be the year, that once again gives hope and power back to the poor and marginalised. It is important that we fight unitedly for the rights of every citizen and ensure social justice. It is our sacred duty to safeguard our Constitution and our Democracy. Once again, A Very #HappyNewYear to everyone. Jai Hind," he said on X.
