'Targetted Only Those Who Killed Our Innocent': Rajnath Singh On Operation Sindoor

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh speaking on operation sindoor said that India followed the principle of Lord Hanuman that he followed while going into Ashok Vatika.

Hours after India's Operation Sindoor, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the Indian armed forces took  action with precision, alertness and sensitiveness. He said that India followed the principle of Lord Hanuman that he followed while going into Ashok Vatika.

" Jinh mohi maara, tinh mohi maare. We targetted only those who killed our innocent," Singh said.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the armed forces launched the operation and destroyed training camps for terrorists, giving a befitting reply this time too, just like it did earlier. 

"To give a reply for the attack on its soil, India used its Right to Respond. Our action was done with due deliberations and precision. With the aim of breaking the morale of terrorists, this action was restricted to just their camps and infrastructure. I bow before the valour of our armed forces once again," Singh said as quoted by news agency ANI.

Govt Convenes All-Party Meeting On Thursday

The government has convened an all-party meeting on Thursday to brief them about the strike carried out by the armed forces targeting terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Riiiju posted on X about the proposed meeting.

Govt has called an All Party leaders meeting at 11 am on 8th May, 2025 at Committee Room: G-074, in the Parliament Library Building, Parliament Complex  in New Delhi, he said.

The government on Wednesday said Indian military carried out a measured, non-escalatory, proportionate, and responsible strike to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan to deter and to pre-empt any further terrorist strikes to retaliate the Pahalgam attack.
