Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express: Check Out Ticket Prices, Route, Schedule, Stoppages And Other Details

Goa has got its first Vande Bharat train and Maharashtra its fifth. It will run between Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Goa's Madgaon station.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday flagged off five Vande Bharat trains from Rani Kamalapati Railway Station in Bhopal. He also launched the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express virtually from Madhya Pradesh. The high-speed train, which was initially slated to be launched on June 3, was delayed due to the accident in Odisha train accident. This is Goa’s first Vande Bharat Express and Maharashtra’s fifth. It will run between Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Goa's Madgaon station and help in boosting tourism in the two states, said Indian Railways.

The 586 km train journey from Madgaon (junction) Station in Goa to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai took about 11-12 hours. However, the distance will now be covered by the Vande Bharat Express in just eight hours, said a statement by the Indian Railways.

Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express Stoppages

The Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express (Train No-22229) will run six days a week, except Friday. It will start its journey from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai at 5.25 AM and reach Madgaon at 3:30 PM. Along the way, it will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Kheda, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, and Thivim stations.

Stoppages of Madgaon-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Train

The Goa-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express (Train No-22230) will run six days a week, except Friday. It will start its journey from Madgaon station in Goa at 12:20 PM and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 10:25 PM. Along the way, it will halt at Thivim, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Kheda, Panvel, Thane, and Dadar stations.

Madgaon-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Train Fare

The fare in an AC chair car in Vande Bharat Express will be Rs 1,970 from Madgaon to (CSMT) Mumbai, which will include Rs 530 for catering charges. However, the fare in the Executive Chair Car will be Rs 3,535 from Madgaon to CSMT, which will include Rs 613 as catering charges.

Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express Train Fare

The fare in an AC Chair Car on Vande Bharat Express from Mumbai to Goa will be Rs 1,815, which will include Rs 379 catering charges. The fare in the Executive Chair Car will be Rs 3,360 from CSMT Mumbai to Madgaon, which will include Rs 434 as catering charges.

Madgaon- Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Non-Monsoon Timings

Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will run 6 days a week, except Friday. Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express (Train No-22229) will leave (CSMT) Mumbai at 05.25 AM and will reach Madgaon at 01.10 PM.

On the other hand, Goa-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express (Train No-22230) will leave Madgaon at 02.40 PM and will reach (CSMT) Mumbai at 10.25 PM.

Madgaon- Mumbai Vande Bharat Express Monsoon Timings

Trains on both the routes of Madgaon- Mumbai Vande Bharat Express and Mumbai- Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will run three days in a week according to the monsoon timings.

Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express (Train No-22229) will leave (CSMT) Mumbai at 05.25 AM on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It will reach Madgaon at 03.30 PM. And Goa-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express (Train No-22230) will leave Madgaon at 12.20 PM on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. This train will reach (CSMT) Mumbai at 10.25 PM. Meanwhile, the Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will stop at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankavali and Thivim.
