'Central Agencies Have Special Love For AAP': Raghav Chadha On Raids, Arrests Of Senior Opposition Leaders
According to Chadha, ED searched 112 places between 2004 and 2014, when the UPA government was in control, however, between 2014 to 2023, the ED raided 3100 sites.
AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Tuesday alleged that BJP is using central investigating agencies to squash opposition ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls, news agency ANI reported. Addressing a press conference, Chadha stated: "In BJP-ruled states agencies are silent and in non-BJP ruled states agencies are violent." According to Chadha, ED searched 112 places between 2004 and 2014, when the UPA government was in control, however, between 2014 to 2023, the ED raided 3100 sites. "95% of the cases registered by CBI and ED are against politicians of the Opposition," he stated.
"They have a special love for AAP, they have jailed several of our leaders in false cases. This will be done by only those people who are scared of INDIA alliance," he further stated.
Accusing BJP of being "nervous" ahead of Lok Sabha Polls, Chadha said: "AAP is a party that doesn't get scared of the attacks of agencies. Truth and honesty are on the side of AAP and we will fight till the end. BJP may make thousands of attempts and jail whichever AAP leader they want under any false case - in the end, truth, honesty, Arvind Kejriwal and AAP will win. As the Lok Sabha elections approach, attacks by agencies and a nervous BJP will increase."

Earlier today, Raghav Chadha has approached the Delhi High Court against a trial court's decision to vacate an interim injunction that prevented the Rajya Sabha Secretariat from evicting him from the Type VII house given to him in July last year.
Chadha's attorney requested an urgent hearing before Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Sanjeev Narula on Tuesday, expressing concern that Chadha might be ordered to evacuate because the stay had been lifted. On Wednesday, the bench agreed to list the case.
