Jharkhand Govt To Reinstate Suspended Primary Teachers, Stalled Promotions To Be Processed
A special meeting had been organised in view of processing pending promotions of teachers for all grades on an immediate basis.
Jharkhand News: There is some good news for thousands of elementary school teachers in Jharkhand. A service rulebook would be set up for all teachers in the state. Along with this, teachers who have been unable to get confirmation letters for their services would also be receiving them soon.
This decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the Secretary of Department of School Education and Literacy for Jharkhand, Rajesh Kumar Sharma. A number of important decisions regarding school teachers were taken in this meeting.
Suspended teachers to be reinstated:
A number of aspects like promotion of primary school teachers and performance review of teachers suspended for years were discussed. Apart from these, a proposal for appearing for the Departmental Limited Competitive Examination (LDCE) was sent to the Personnel Department on behalf of the teachers union after a discussion with them.
Vacancies to be filled:
In the meeting, an agreement was reached to release school uniform prices for students after Chhath Puja. Apart from this, discussion for hiring of commerce qualified teachers was also put on the priority list. Another crucial decision to direct the District Education Officer to take charge of filling the vacant post of District Education Superintendent in Garhwa, Godda, Sahibganj was also taken.
Appeal made to implement promotions:
Processing of pending promotions of teachers for all grades on an immediate basis was also discussed in the meeting. An appeal was also made to help space out employee promotions regularly between 10, 20 and 30 years.
