India Has Never Been Offensive, But Knows How To Give Befitting Reply: Rajnath Singh

He said that though India, has never attacked any country of the world, its Armed Forces have the capability to give suitable reply to any kind of aggression.

New Delhi: A day after Pakistan Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed issued a nuclear war threat to India,  Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hit back at Pakistan and said that India would give befitting reply to those who try to cast an evil eye on it. He said that though India, has never attacked any country of the world, its Armed Forces have the capability to give suitable reply to any kind of aggression. “India has never been offensive, India has never attacked any country of the world, India has never even acquired even an inch of land by force, but our Armed Forces have the capability to give befitting reply to those who try to cast their evil eye on India,” he said. Indian Navy has taken steps to ensure that  26/11-type terrorist attack does not happen again, he said while talking to media after addressing the biannual Naval Commanders Conference which began on Tuesday. Responding to questions on comments by Pakistani Ministers’ nuclear war remark issued time and again, Singh said that India has never invaded anyone, nor has it annexed an inch of anybody’s territory, but it knows how to defend itself. Singh’s comment comes a day after Pakistan union minister Sheikh Rasheed said that a nuclear war could break out between India and Pakistan. Rasheed’s statement came after Indian Army destroyed a number of terror camps in PoK and also attacked Pakistan Army’s district headquarters located in Neelum valley. As per sources India Army assessment says more than 20 terrorists were killed in Sunday’s artillery attack of India at terrorist launch pads across LoC in Pakistan.
