Independence Day 2018: List of Trains To Be Cancelled, Diverted, Regulated, Rescheduled

Independence Day trains rescheduled/cancelled/diverted: A notice shared on the Northern Railway website stated that the train movement between Delhi Jn and Delhi Shahdara Station will remain temporarily suspended

NEW DELHI: Due to Independence Day Ceremony at Red Fort o­n 15th August 2018, the train movement between Delhi Jn. and Delhi Shahadara Station will remain temporarily suspended for an o­ne hour forty-five minutes from 6.45 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. As a result, the following trains will be cancelled /regulated/ diverted/rescheduled o­n 15th August 2018 as per details.   • The 64437 Ghaziabad- Delhi EMU and,
  • The 64402 Delhi Jn.-Ghaziabad EMU trains will remain cancelled.
DIVERSION OF TRAINS o­n 15.8.2018
  • The 15484 Delhi Jn. – Alipurduar Sikkim Mahananda Express train will be diverted to run via New Delhi- Tilak Bridge.
  • The 14044 Delhi Jn. – Kotdwara Garhwal Express train will be diverted to run via New Delhi- Tilak Bridge.
  • The 12312 Kalka – Howrah Mail will be diverted to run via New Delhi- Tilak Bridge.
  • The 64004 Sonepat-Delhi Jn.- Sahibabad EMU train will be diverted to run via Subzi Mandi - New Delhi -Tilak Bridge - Sahibabad.
TRAINS TO BE REGULATED o­n 15.8.18
  • The 14207 Pratapgarh- DelhiPadmavat Express train will be regulated at Delhi Shahadra.
  • The 12225 Azamgarh- Delhi Jn. Kaifiyaat Express train will be regulated at Sahibabad.
  • The 14042 Dehradun – Delhi Sarai RohillaMussoorie Express train will be regulated at Sahibabad.
  • The 64111 Khurja –Shakurbasti EMU train will be regulated at Sahibabad if required.
  • The 64567 Bulandshahar- Tilak Bridge EMU train will be regulated at Ghaziabad if required.
  • The 64558 Saharanpur-Delhi MEMUtrain will be regulated at Ghaziabad if required.
  • The 74022Shamli -Delhi Jn. DEMU train will be regulated at Noli if required.
  •  The15910 Lal Garh- Dibrugarh Avadh Assam express train will be regulated at Delhi Jn. till clearance.
RESCHEDULING /SHORT TERMINATION/ORIGINATION OF TRAINS o­n 15.8.2018
  • The 54058 Shamli – Delhi Jn. passenger train will depart from Shamli at 4.30 a.m instead of 3.15 a.m .
  • The 51914 Saharanpur-Delhi passenger train will be short terminated at Delhi Shahdara.
  • The 74021 Delhi- Saharanpur DMU train scheduled to depart at 7.35 a.m from Delhi Jn. will be rescheduled to depart at 9.00 a.m. and will short terminate at Shamliand will remain partially cancelled between Shamli- Saharanpur.
  • The 74024 Saharanpur – Delhi Jn. DMU train will short originate from Shamliandwill remain partially cancelled between Saharanpur -Shamli.
Earlier on Monday, timings of more than 300 trains will change in the new Northern Railway schedule which will come into effect from August 15, a statement from the zone read. The departures of 57 trains have been preponed while 58 trains have been postponed in the new timetable. The arrivals of 102 trains have been preponed while 84 trains have been postponed. “It is notified for the information of general public that Northern Railways’ new timetable will be effective from August 15,” the statement read. Passengers are requested to please check their train timings from railway enquiry before commencing their journey, the statement said.
