J&K: Gunfight breaks out in Bandipora; 2 terrorists killed

Srinagar: A gunfight broke out between the security forces and terrorists on Thursday morning in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district. According to a police official, Indian Army patrol party was fired upon by terrorists when they were in Hajin’s Parrat Mohalla on Thursday morning. The security officials also retaliated and fired upon the terrorists; which triggered a gunbattle. Speaking on the same, a police official said, “The operation is still underway. Reinforcements have also been rushed to tighten the cordon around the terrorists”. The area has been cordoned off and attempts to nab the terrorists are being made.
