Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi alleged the opposition Members of Parliament tried to break open the door and injured a woman marshal.
New Delhi: Taking the Opposition to task for disrupting the Monsoon Session of Parliament, the Central government on Thursday asked the opposition leaders to apologise for throwing rulebook at the Rajya Sabha chair and standing atop tables right below where the Speaker sits.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi alleged the opposition Members of Parliament tried to break open the door and injured a woman marshal.
“Then one MP climbed onto the table. The lawmakers seem to be proud of their actions. They even shot videos, which is not allowed. We were threatened that if we tried to pass any bill after the OBC bill then we will witness something worse,” Joshi said.

Meanwhile, the opposition parties leaders took out a protest march against the Central government on several issues, including Pegasus and alleged manhandling of their MPs in the Rajya Sabha. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who led the protest, said that the voice of people was "crushed" in the House.
