Earlier on May 12, the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police busted three extortion modules of the Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang and apprehended a total of eight people, adding that the gang was using juveniles for extortion. Six weapons were also recovered, news agency ANI reported.

Addressing a press conference, Special Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ravindra Singh Yadav said that this international crime syndicate had been operating across Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Rajasthan.
