Errol Musk, Father Of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Visits Ayodhya's Ram Mandir — Video

Errol Musk, Elon Musk's father, is visiting India for five days, starting in Ayodhya. He praised India's culture and people, citing his familiarity through the Indian diaspora in the US.

The father of billionaire CEO and Tesla founder Elon Musk landed in Ayodhya today. He is in India as part of his five-day visit. Speaking to news agency ANI, Errol called India a wonderful place and said there are a lot of Indians in the USA, and so he knows the culture. Musk Senior also hinted at smart business plans on the fourth day of his visit.

"India is a wonderful place. As many people as possible should come to India. There are a lot of Indians in the country where I come from. So, I know the Indian culture. The people are full of love, kindness, probably the best people you can meet...We have some smart (business) plans which are being looked at...I think they (India-US relations) will be very good…,” Errol Musk said as quoted by news agency ANI.

Errol arrived in India on June 1, 2025 and is set to depart for South Africa on June 6, 2025, reports Mint.

On the security amid Errol's visit, a police officer said that there is already a three-layered high-level security cover in place in Ayodhya, which includes round-the-clock deployment of high-tech anti-drone systems capable of detecting and neutralising unauthorised aerial activity. He added that security arrangements in and around the temple area include CCTV surveillance, regular checking of visitors, and deployment of specially trained personnel. However, no additional security cover will be extended officially for this visit, as the existing measures are adequate, he said as quoted by news agency PTI.

Errol's Visit To India

The highlight of his visit includes a pilgrimage to the revered Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya Ram Mandir, where he will “seek blessings from Shree Ram Lalla,” as per sources cited by PTI. This symbolic stop reflects what sources describe as his deeper “engagement with India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.”

Errol was recently inducted into the global advisory board of Servotech Power Systems, an Indian company working in solar energy and EV charging solutions. His presence at this event is being seen as a significant vote of confidence in India's clean tech ecosystem. According to PTI, Musk will offer “strategic guidance to Servotech’s leadership team” as part of his new advisory role.

Musk’s visit comes at a time when India is aggressively pushing to position itself as a global hub for renewable energy and electric mobility.
