Department of Public Health issues death certificate of Jayalalithaa

New Delhi: The death certificate of J Jayalalithaa, who had passed away on Monday night after a cardiac arrest, was issued by the Department of Public Health. Jayalalithaa Jayaram who served five terms as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, for over fourteen years between 1991 and 2016, expired at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader was admitted in the hospital since September 22. A pall of gloom engulfed the entire nation as soon as the news of her being no more aired. Celebrities from all walks of life offered their condolences to the actress turned politician. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday visited the Tamil Nadu state to pay his homage.
