Teacher Rapes 3-Year-Old Girl In Bhopal, School Sealed; CM Orders Strict Action
SDM said the process to cancel the school's affiliation has been initiated. The order will be issued in the next few hours.
A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a teacher in a private school in Bhopal. Authorities have sealed the school and are planing to cancel the school's affiliation. The school teacher has been arrested following a complaint lodged by the girl's parents.
"Since the victim is very young, it took some time to uncover the incident, but once we received the complaint, we immediately took action and arrested the accused," Bhopal Commissioner of Police Harinarayanchari Mishra said.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Archana Sharma said a committee has been constituted to investigate the matter and we will complete the probe within two days. "We have sealed the school building, and the process to cancel its affiliation has been initiated. The order will be issued in the next few hours," the SDM added.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav condemned the incident and ordered strict action against the accused. "A case of rape of a three-year-old girl by a school teacher in Bhopal has come to my notice. I have instructed that strict action be taken. Additionally, I will ensure justice is served in this case through a special court. This act is extremely disgusting, shameful, and condemnable," he said.
Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh said legal action will be taken against the accused. An inquiry committee has been constituted to probe the incident and visit the school.

The state government will get it checked if there are CCTV cameras installed in schools and whether or not regulations are being followed. Meanwhile, ABVP workers staged a protest in Bhopal against the alleged incident.
