CAT 2018 notification: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has released the notification for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018 on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. Candidates who were preparing to appear for this year’s biggest management examination can now visit the official website and register for the same. All the details related the exam is mentioned on IIMCAT website. This year, CAT is scheduled to take place on November 25, 2018. The registration for the same will start on August 8, according to the notification released on the official website. CAT 2018 will be conducted by IIMs as a pre-requisite for admission to various management programmes of IIMs. Students must note that CAT 2018 Scores are allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions. A list of such institutions is provided on CAT website. As per the official notification, IIMs have no role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions. Registration start date: August 08, 2018 Registration end date: September 19, 2018 at 5:00 pm Admit card download: October 24 – November 25, 2018 Exam Date: November 25, 2018 Result declaration: Second week of January, 2019 (Tentative)

CAT exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PWD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution. • For more details on eligibility, candidates are advised to visit the “CAT 2018 Eligibility‟ section of the CAT website. • Candidates should note that the mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting by IIMs.

CAT 2018 test centres

CAT will be conducted in test centres spread across around 147 test cities. Candidates will be given the option to select any four test cities in order of their preference.

CAT 2018 registration fees

• Candidates will have to pay Rs 950 for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates • Rs 1900 for all other categories of candidates
