'BJP Will Chart A New Story In West Bengal': J P Nadda Says At BJP's National Executive Meet

In view of achieving the 100 crore covid-19 vaccination target, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was felicitated by BJP President JP Nadda and the party's former national presidents.

New Delhi: In reference to the West Bengal politics during Bhartiya Janata Party's (BJP) national executive meeting in Delhi, the saffron party's President J P Nadda on Sunday, while assuring the leaders and the people, said that the "BJP will chart a new story in the state."

In presence of leaders such as Swapan Das Gupta, Anupam Hazra, Kailash Vijayvargiya among others who played a crucial role in the recently held West Bengal Assembly elections, the party chief said, "I want to assure the people of West Bengal that we will be with you and we will chart a new story in the state."

However, the political situation of BJP in West Bengal paints a different picture as dissatisfied elected BJP leaders are leaving the party and joining Trinamool Congress (TMC). As per the ANI reports, with newly-nominated national executive committee member Rajib Banerjee leaving the party to join TMC, the party had to face embarrassment.

In view of achieving the 100 crore covid-19 vaccination target, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was felicitated by BJP President JP Nadda and the party's former national presidents.

During his address, the party chief Nadda announced targets to be completed by the party leaders on the ground. He further adds that the Booth level committee formation should be completed by December 25, 2021.

"Every booth has been mobilised to listen in to the Maan Ki Baat at the booth level," Nadda was quoted by ANI in its report.

Union Minister and BJP leader Dharmendra Pradhan said that the party chief while addressing various initiatives of the government including the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, said that the "party's vote share in recent polls has increased."

The 124 national executive members, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president J P Nadda and various Union ministers in-person attended the BJP's national executive meeting today, while the members from states including the Chief Ministers joined the meeting virtually following the covid-19 protocol.
