Winter Chill Hits Bihar, But Biting Cold To Dawn On State In December 1st Week: Details
Bihar is expected to experience a cold wave in the first or second week of December. Currently, the minimum temperature in many districts is between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius.
Bihar Weather Alert Today November 21: The effects of winter are starting to be felt in Bihar. Although this is just the beginning, the cold will start to set in within a few days. While the temperature has not seen a significant decrease, the minimum temperature in several districts of North Bihar has a major drop.
According to the Patna Meteorological Department, the cold will gradually increase in the state after the next 4 to 5 days. Bihar residents would have to be ready for the biting cold from the first or second week of December. The effects of cold are currently being seen in both North Bihar and South Bihar, but the effects of fog are more visible in North Bihar.

Fog Alert In 15 Districts Of Bihar Today
The Patna Meteorological Department issued a moderate fog warning for about 15 districts of North Bihar on Thursday. These include West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saharsa, Purnea, Madhepura, Kishanganj, Supaul, Araria, and Katihar. Apart from these, there is a possibility of light fog and mist in the morning in other districts of the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, the lowest temperature in the state was recorded at 13.9 degrees Celsius in Aurangabad on Thursday. Apart from this, the minimum temperature in several districts of North Bihar and South Bihar were between 14 and 16 degrees. However, there has been no change in the maximum temperature in Patna. The minimum temperature in Patna city was recorded at 18.1 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Centre Patna has said that there will be no significant change in the weather of the state for the next three days. However, the temperature may drop by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius soon.
