Bharat Bandh: Rahul Gandhi Backs Farmers' Agitation, Calls The Movement 'Non-Violent Satyagraha'

Bharat Bandh: The Farmer's organization have announced Bharat Bandh today in order to raise their voices against the agrarian laws.

Bharat Bandh: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday extended his support to the Farmer organization fighting against the agricultural laws. The Farmer's organization have announced Bharat Bandh today in order to raise their voices against the agrarian laws.

Congress has consistently been seen supporting the farmers in protest against the agricultural laws. While supporting the farmer's movement, Rahul Gandhi on his official Twitter handle writes, "Farmers' non-violent satyagraha is intact even today. But the exploitative government does not like this."

Apart from this, Congress has asked all its workers, heads of organizations including state unit chiefs to take part in the Bharat Bandh with the support of farmers. The United Kisan Morcha has called a Bharat Bandh today against the three agricultural laws. This bandh has also got the support of many political parties across the country. In view of the bandh, strict security arrangements have been made in Delhi. Delhi Police has clearly said that the protesters will not be allowed to enter Delhi.

To keep the situation under control, Delhi Police has also geared up. It has been said by the Delhi Police that the Police will not allow the protesters to enter the national capital. Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Deepak Yadav said, "Adequate security arrangements have been made as a precautionary measure in view of the Bharat Bandh. Check posts have been strengthened in the border areas and adequate deployment will be made at all important installations including India Gate and Vijay Chowk."
