Ayodhya priest warns BJP: 'Start building Ram Temple, if you want to win 2019 polls'

“If said it before and would say it again, till Ram Temple doesn’t get built, lord Ram would not bestow his blessings on BJP and the day they start losing is not far”

Uttar Pradesh: In a major statement, Ayodhya’s prime priest Acharya Satyendra Das Maharaj said that if BJP doesn’t start building Ram Temple, they would lose elections in 2019. “The way people cheated in the name of Ram and came to power and thereafter forget him”. He added saying that it will lord Ram’s curse and lesson for BJP in 2019 if they don’t start building Ram Temple, they would lose the elections. “If BJP wants to win the elections, it must start building the temple, otherwise it will be very difficult for them”. “If said it before and would say it again, till Ram Temple doesn’t get built, lord Ram would not bestow his blessings on BJP and the day they start losing is not far” he added. He also asked the party to take cue from latest defeat in UP. He further added saying “BJP must understand this and start working towards building of Ram Temple in order to win 2019 general elections”. The statement comes in reaction to senior party leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi's statement, who said development will be the only issue in 2019 polls. Speaking on Naqvi's statement Mahant Paramhans Das said, "If they (BJP) want to come in power again (in 2019) then they have to build the Ram Temple, else we will start a movement and make sure they are defeated".
