Owaisi was addressing a gathering in Ghaziabad when he made this comment. He also hit out at the ruling government over the Lakhimpur case.
Aryan Khan Drugs Case: Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan's elder son Aryan Khan is currently in jail in the Mumbai drugs case.
While several reactions have come in both support and criticism, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has also made a statement regarding the case without naming Aryan Khan directly.
Asaduddin Owaisi said, "I am being asked to speak for the film star's son. But I'll talk about those who are poor. 27 per cent of Muslims are lodged in UP jails, who will talk about them?"
Owaisi was addressing a gathering in Ghaziabad when he made this comment. He also hit out at the ruling government over the Lakhimpur case.
Owaisi alleged that Ashish belongs to the upper-caste so the Prime Minister is not able to remove his father. If Ashish's name had been Atiq, he would have been knocked down by now or a bulldozer would have been razed down his home. Asaduddin Owaisi hit back at UP CM Yogi Adityanath's "Abbajan" remarks through the Lakhimpur case and asked why Modi-Yogi are saving Ashish's father?
