After price hike by Amul, Mother Dairy, Baba Ramdev launches Patanjali toned cow milk at lower price

The newly launched Patanjali toned cow milk will be available for customers of Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, some parts of Haryana and Maharashtra from May 28.

After country’s two leading dairy companies Amul and Mother Dairy increased milk prices, the new entrant in dairy industry Patanjali Dairy on Monday launched toned milk for customers. According to the Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, who is also the co-founder of Patanjali Ayurved Limited, the newly launched toned cow milk will be available for customers of Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, some parts of Haryana and Maharashtra from May 28. One litre of toned milk by Patanjali will be available at Rs 40, which is Rs 4 cheaper compared to milk prices by Amul and Mother Dairy. Ramdev today held a press conference where he also spoke about the positive response of its cow milk and other milk-based products including curd, butter, lassi, chach and paneer across the market which has largely been dominated by co-operatives such as Amul and Mother Dairy. Speaking about company’s future plans, Ramdev said that after cow milk and other dairy products, the company will also launch herbal milk in the days to come. The press conference was unique in its way as it was held at Patanjali Gaushala Farm in Haridwar. While addressing a press conference, Ramdev said that Patanjali dairy products are made from pure cow milk and no chemicals are used in the production of these products. While speaking to reporters, Ramdev also said that Patanjali has been directly sourcing cow milk from as many as 15,000 farmers across the country. Throwing a massive challenge to dairy conglomerates in India, Ramdev stated that Patanjali dairy products will be sold at very competitive prices and cheaper than the average market price. Patanjali has also launched tetra pack full cream cow milk and toned milk. Explaining about the sourcing of cow milk, Ramdev informed that the company is getting milk directly from farmers in Rajasthan and Haryana and no third party is involved in the process. During the press conference, Ramdev also took out some time to congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the thumping win in Lok Sabha Elections 2019. While advocating and praising NDA spectacular win in General Elections Ramdev also proposed that May 23 (Election Result 2019 day) should be celebrated as ‘Modi Diwas’ or ‘Lok Kalyan Diwas’. Ramdev also said that NDA under the leadership of PM Modi has set a milestone in the history of Indian politics. While speaking to reporters, Ramdev once again advocated the construction of Ram Temple and said that it is very important for our country to impose a complete ban on cow slaughter and consumption of alcohol. He also spoke about the need to control population in the country.
