AAP To Launch 'Tiranga Yatra' In Ayodhya, Lucknow & Noida To Celebrate With Aim To Unite Citizens

Next year, Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to go to assembly elections and AAP has announced to contest polls in the state along with Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat.

AAP Tiranga Yatra: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will take out tricolour yatra in Ayodhya, Lucknow, and Noida to celebrate the 75th year of India's independence ahead of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.

Party sources said the yatra in Ayodhya will also include a visit to the Ram temple site. The Yatra is scheduled to be taken out in mid-September.

Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that AAP will take out a tricolor yatra in Agra on Sunday and in Noida on September 1.

These will be attended by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Party leaders said, the country is celebrating its 75th year of independence and the aim of the visit is to unite people against the politics of casteism and corruption.

UP to go to polls next year

Next year, Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to go to assembly elections and AAP has announced to contest polls in the state along with Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat.

Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh earlier talked about the alliance over the upcoming elections in UP. He said he met the Samajwadi Party national president earlier. He said that the announcement on alliance needs to be awaited. Talking about UP, Sanjay Singh said that law and order-related problems and corruption are at their peak.
