Republic Day 2022: World Leaders Extend Greetings As India Celebrates 73rd Republic Day
73rd Republic Day: Leaders across the world extended their wishes for India to mark 73rd Republic day.

New Delhi: Marking the 73rd Republic Day, India is celebrating its 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' which will continue till August 15, 2023.
While extending their wishes to India, foreign nations and dignitaries greeted the people of our nation.
The Indian Embassy in Beijing celebrated 73rd Republic Day with President Ram Nath Kovind's message to the country.

In view of the prevailing situation of COVID-19, the ceremony was only restricted to the officials of the embassy in the Chinese capital.
This was not the first time that pandemic has affected the Republic day celebrations. Before this it was canceled due to the lockdown in 2020 and in 2021, it was restricted to the staff and their families in China.
In Singapore, it was virtually celebrated as the Acting High Commissioner Siddhartha Nath read the president's message to the Indian community through social media.

Meanwhile, Australian Prime Minister Morrison also took on Twitter to share his greetings, also in Hindi, to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
"Australia and India enjoy a wonderful friendship. While we celebrate #AustraliaDay today, I also extend my very best wishes to my good friend @narendramodi and all Indians on #RepublicDayIndia," Morrison tweeted.

While extending his greetings, Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari wished President Ram Nath Kovind.
"Best wishes for good health and happiness of the President of India as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of India," Bhandari wrote, according to the statement.
Bhutan Prime Minister Lotay Tshering said, "as the two nations stood firm and resolute in extending profound friendships through the contours of time, I have no doubt that we will continue to write many more stories of success and happiness together." "On this Republic Day of India, the people of Bhutan and I send our best wishes to the people of India. While you witness the majestic parades in celebration today, please know that the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan rejoice with you in heart and spirit," he said in his message on Twitter.
