2 Years Of Pulwama Terror Attack: Indians Can 'Never Forget, Never Forgive The Sacrifice Of 40 CRPF Soldiers'

India lost their 40 valiant soldiers after a suicide bomber rammed an IED laden vehicle into the security convoy carrying them on February 2019, in Pulwama. The convoy of 78 buses carrying 2,500 CRPF personnel was moving from Jammu towards Srinagar.

The Day 14th February is being remembered as the Black Day for India as the nation witnessed the tragic terror attack in Pulwama, Jammu, and Kashmir 2 years ago.  India lost their 40 valiant soldiers after a suicide bomber rammed an IED laden vehicle into the security convoy carrying them. The convoy of 78 buses carrying 2,500 CRPF personnel was moving from Jammu towards Srinagar.

It was 14 February 2019, when a 22-year-old suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar rammed an explosive vehicle into the bus.

Pakistan based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed had taken responsibility for the Pulwama terror attack after repeated denials from Pakistan. 

'It's been 2 years but I can't forget the dastardly day'

Nasir Ahmed, a head constable of Rajouri, Jammu, was also martyred in this suicide attack two years ago. Shazia, the wife of martyred soldier Nasir, was honored at a program organized to salute the sacrifice of the martyrs. Emotional Shazia says that she has not forgotten that day even today. In a program organized to pay tribute to the martyrs, the army soldiers remembered their colleagues by singing songs. Apart from army soldiers, children also took part in the programme.

Pulwama attack was the bloodiest day in the valley till today and India was filled with anger and grief. After 12 days of Pulwama attack India hit back and carried out surgical strike in Pakistan's Balakot. The aim was to bomb the Jaish-e-Mohammed's (JeM’s) camp in the dense forests of Balakot, following which India and Pakistan saw tight monitoring of their air space. Simultaneously, India rushed thousands of troops to Kashmir and heightened the security in the Valley.

India had also withdrawn the 'Most Favoured Nation' (MFN) to Paksitan following the terror attack
