The Union Territory reported 79 cases till March 11, as per a report on The Live Mint. However, there are no deaths related to the virus.

However, the health department is working in full swing in UT to bring the rising cases under control. The UT has also started special booths in outpatient departments in the hospitals to treat influenza.

The move also comes after demands by several factions including political parties and parents to close the schools amid increasing virus cases.
