'Countdown Begins': PUBG Mobile India Likely To Release Today For Android Phones?

Earlier this month, PUBG Corporation revealed to make a comeback to the Indian Markets soon with the creation of a new game which will basically be the Indian subsidiary of its widely popular gaming app. As per the latest development, the mobile based gaming app is expected to come sooner than the most people had expected. Though the company has not officially specified any date, a recent tweet by PUBG Mobile India fan club has created a buzz among the gaming fans. "Countdown begins. Few hours to go!," the tweet from PUBG Mobile India fan club account read. Along with tweet, the account has also posted a picture which showed that the game will be available on Google Play Store and for APK download separately.

As there is no mention of the Apple App Store or an iOS version, it is being assumed that the game is being launched only for Android users initially. It is not known when the game will be rolled out for iPhone gamers. To do some damage control, PUBG Corp had revoked China-based Tencent Games' authorisation of PUBG Mobile franchise's operations in India. The company also mentioned plans to provide a secure and healthy environment with respect to gaming. To deal with privacy and data security related concerns, PUBG said it will conduct regular audits and verifications on the storage systems holding Indian users' personally identifiable information to ensure security and safe data management.
