Delhi: 77-Yr-Old Builder Found Dead With Throat Slit In Civil Lines
North Delhi DCP Sagar Singh Kalsi said that at 6:52 am on Sunday morning, a man called and told that someone had slit his father's throat.
New Delhi: A builder was found dead with his throat slit after a robbery on Sunday in North Delhi's Civil Lines area, said police.
The criminals slit the throat of the old man after robbing him and disappeared with the cash from the house. The total amount of money that has been looted is still under investigation.
North Delhi DCP Sagar Singh Kalsi said that at 6:52 am on Sunday morning, a man called and told that someone had slit his father's throat. He needs help. When the police immediately reached the spot, it was found that 77-year-old Ram Kishore Agarwal had died. The son of the deceased told that at 6:40 am he saw his father lying on the bed and he was stabbed 4 times.
"At 6.52 am on May 1, a PCR call was received at the Civil Lines police station from a person informing about the death if his father. He told the police that his father's throat had been slit and he had been taken to hospital," Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi said.

"We have registered a case under Section 302 (murder), 397 (robbery, or dacoity, with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code," Kalsi said.
To nab the culprits at the earliest, several teams have been formed from across the district, he said.
Earlier on Saturday, criminals also carried out the incident of robbery in Delhi's Anand Lok. The robbers went away with Rs 4 crore by tying the hands and feet of the elderly woman Ritika Sharma.
