PM Modi To Interact With CWG-Bound Indian Contingent
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Indian contingent going to participate in the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022 on Wednesday, July 20. According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), athletes, as well as their coaches, will participate in this interaction through video conference.
The PMO said that the Prime Minister's interaction is a part of his constant endeavor to motivate the athletes before participating in major sporting events. Last year, the Prime Minister interacted with the contingent of Indian athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics as well as the Indian para-athletes participating in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
Arvind Kejriwal To Visit Surat, Announce His First Pre-Poll 'Guarantee'
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will visit Gujarat on a two-day visit from Wednesday. During this, he will announce the first poll-related 'guarantee' of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) regarding the assembly elections. An AAP leader gave this information on Tuesday, as reported by news agency PTI.
AAP's national convener Kejriwal will reach Surat on Wednesday evening and announce the "first guarantee" for the Gujarat elections on Thursday, according to Aam Aadmi Party's Gujarat unit general secretary Manoj Sorathia.
“On July 21, Arvind Kejriwal will give his first guarantee to the people of Gujarat. Along with this, he will also hold a review meeting with the state leadership regarding the upcoming elections in Gujarat,” Sorathiya said.
